Business Development – Govt Sales

Key Responsibilities

  • Identifying new business development opportunities- Government Vertical
  • Driving lead generation efforts and new client acquisition through various channels.
  • Creating pitches and proposals including requirements gathering for successful conversion of leads.
  • Understanding and analyzing business & technical requirements from clients.
  • Conducting introductory calls and following up with clients both online and offline.
  • Responsible for Revenue generation
  • Nurturing leads and follow-ups.
  • Relationship management with existing and potential clients and with OEMs
  • Networking to gain potential leads.
  • Knowledge of GeM/ Online bidding.
  • Handling customer questions, inquiries, and complaints.
  • Meeting daily, weekly, and monthly Sales targets.

Required Skills

  • MBA/ PG /BE/B.Tech Commerce Graduate / MBA / with 5+ years in sales majorly in domestic sales in Cloud Solutions/ Enterprise Software/ IT
  • Solutions/ Software (SaaS)- GOVERNMENT VERTICAL
  • Must have a Track record of meeting the quota numbers from year-on-year
  • Must have significant experience with face-to-face presentations to executive-level decision-makers
  • Must have a passion for growing businesses.
  • Must know about Cloud, Data Center, SI, and Web Hosting.
  • Must have a deep understanding of the sales cycle
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills including presentation skills.
  • Must have strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Must be dynamic, self-motivated, and a good team player
