Exchange Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain Microsoft Exchange Server environments, including Exchange Online (Office 365) and on-premises Exchange Server installations.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Exchange-related issues, such as email delivery, connectivity, and performance problems, and provide timely resolutions.
  • Configure and manage Exchange mailboxes, distribution lists, public folders, and other objects to meet user and business requirements.
  • Implement and maintain Exchange security measures, including email filtering, antivirus, antispam, and data loss prevention mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to plan and implement Exchange Server upgrades, patches, and migrations.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of high availability and disaster recovery solutions for Exchange environments.
  • Provide technical support to end-users, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with email client configurations.
  • Monitor and optimize Exchange performance and storage utilization, conducting capacity planning and implementing performance enhancements as needed.
  • Collaborate with network and security teams to ensure secure and efficient email communication, including encryption, transport rules, and compliance requirements.
  • Stay updated with the latest Exchange Server features, updates, and industry trends, and recommend improvements to enhance email services.
