Mac Support Engineer

Summary:

We are seeking a Mac Support Engineer with 5+ years of experience to provide technical support and assistance to our Mac users. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of the Mac operating system, hardware, and software applications.

Position: Mac Support Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to Mac users, troubleshooting software and hardware issues and resolving technical problems.
  • Manage and support Mac hardware, including setup, configuration, and maintenance of devices such as Mac Desktop, MacBooks, iMacs, and Mac minis.
  • Administer and maintain Mac software, including installation, updates, and patching of operating systems and applications.
  • Develop and implement best practices for Mac security and backup solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement Mac-related projects.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of all support tickets and solutions.
  • Educate end-users on Mac best practices and usage.
  • Identify and recommend solutions for Mac-related problems or improvements.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Mac support, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Strong technical skills in Mac operating systems, hardware, and software applications.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Mac management tools such as JAMF Pro or Munki preferred.
