Network Security Engineer
Job Description:
- Certification – CCNA and CCNP Mandatory
- Troubleshoot highly complex customer network issues (LAN & WAN) and provide corrective actions to restore customer services
- Troubleshoot and resolve highly complex WAN issues in coordination with carriers & suppliers
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting Cisco ASR, ISR routers, 4600 and 6500 switches, MERAKI wireless controllers
- Good Knowledge of Routing & Switching Protocol, Network Monitoring and remote management tools
- Experience in handling CISCO L3 and L2 Devices.
- Knowledge of MPLS and VPN networks.
- Hands-on knowledge and working experience in Security products such as ASA ,FTD, Checkpoint Firewall,ls, and WSAappliancese.
- F5 load balances knowledge and working experience would be added advantages.
- Expertise in CISCO switch ( 4500,6500 and 9500 + Nexus would be an added advantage)
- Maintaining and taking the periodical backup of all the IT Components.
- Designing, updating the WAN & LAN diagrams & documenting the Network details
- Creation of MOP/SOP and responsible for change management
- Responsible for technical documentation of customer network and updating internal knowledge database
- Proactive Monitoring of Solarwind
- Perform impact and risk assessments for the planned and project tasks
- Provide technical inputs for monthly customer service review reports and creation of Service
Improvement Plans
- Assist in the creation of Root cause analysis (RCA) with Level 2 and Level 1 engineers
- Adherence and compliance to the defined processes and tasks assigned
- Training and Mentoring Level 2 network engineers and other staff as necessary
