Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer storage systems and infrastructure in the NOC environment.
- Design, implement, and maintain storage solutions, including storage area networks (SANs), network-attached storage (NAS), and other storage technologies.
- Monitor storage performance, capacity, and availability, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues or bottlenecks.
- Ensure data integrity, reliability, and security within the storage environment.
- Collaborate with system administrators and network engineers to integrate storage systems with the overall IT infrastructure.
- Plan and execute storage capacity management, including forecasting, provisioning, and optimizing storage resources.
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions for storage systems.
- Troubleshoot storage-related incidents and problems, identify root causes, and implement appropriate solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in storage technologies, recommending improvements and innovations.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations, industry standards, and internal security policies.
